For me, it is definitely not necessary. Honestly, it's just another challenge for the people in Philippines, we are a third world country and going to school isn't easy. Some of us are trying to graduate as soon as possible in order to become independent and to be able to help our family in every way possible, to have a decent job that could secure our future. Not everything we learn at school can be applied in the real world. What we need is quality education which can actually be achieved in just 4yrs, not another 2 years of teaching us stuff that we won't even remember a year after graduation.
