Give me shelter building, resource hoarding, town management, and a protagonist who's always preparing instead of rushing into danger, and I'm hooked. Apocalypse Lord isn't trying to be over-the-top, and that's exactly why I enjoyed it. It's such a chill read and perfect when I just want to unwind while watching the MC slowly build a safe life from the ground up during apocalypse. .
