I do, and I try not to ignore it. The first thing I do is track my cycle because it helps me notice patterns. If my period is consistently irregular, very heavy, very painful, or I miss it for several months (without pregnancy), I make an appointment with an OB-GYN. Irregular periods can happen because of stress, weight changes, hormonal conditions like Polycystic ovary syndrome, thyroid problems, or other factors, so it’s better to find the cause than just wait it out. In the meantime, I focus on getting enough sleep, managing stress, eating balanced meals, and staying active. Everyone’s body is different, so what works for one person may not work for another.
