Bahala Na Si Lord
"Bahala na si Lord" is not faith. And I say that with full respect to everyone who grew up with that phrase. Kasi gets ko kung saan galing yun. There is real comfort in surrender. There is real peace in trusting God with things outside your control. But somewhere along the way, yung surrender became an excuse to not move. Look at every person in the Bible that God used for something significant. Noah didn't say "bahala na si Lord" and wait for the flood to pass. He built an ark. Moses didn't say "bahala na si Lord" at the edge of the Red Sea. He raised his staff and moved. David didn't say "bahala na si Lord" when he faced Goliath. He picked up the stones. Every single one of them moved first. And God showed up in the middle of their movement, hindi sa paghihintay. Kasi yung "bahala na si Lord" na may halong pagtunganga na nag-aabang ng blessing... hindi yun pagtitiwala. Pag-asa lang yun, it's not faith Here's the truth. Real faith is not passive. It's moving forward with the full belief that you are not doing it alone, habang ginagawa mo yung part na nasa kamay mo. 🙏 #KarlSerrano #faith #God ------ Above post is from Karl Serrano.. and im re-sharing it here lalo na at down na down ako ngayon... #anxietyEpisode #depressedEpisode #TimeOfTheMonth
