Travel to Vietnam Shelved

As a continuation of my travel diary -- just sharing that there's a Cebu Pac sale right now and it'll last only for a few days. I tried booking for overseas trip twice -- last night and then again, this morning, but encountered error in both instances. Too much cookies, or something like that. Even when using a new browser, di tumutuloy. During my 2nd attempt, my more well-travelled sister texted, somewhat sensing I was about to book a solo trip to Vietnam, and advised to put it off. She added there's not much to see in my selected destination. Talk about timing. I was really about to click to pay nung nagka-glitch. I decided to follow my sister's advice, though sabi ko may mga 2t to 3t savings had I booked my Vietnam flight via Cebu Pac seat sale. Then again, (very)hard-earned money must be well-thought out, well-spent. Rechecked the total if it'll be Taipei I'll visit, and turned out 4t lower. Then again, wala pang accommodation (& mas masarap kumain siempre pay may traveling companion, so schedule prob naman). Then there's the visa matter. News says: the Philippine passport holder visa-free privilege was extended until July 31, 2026. However, because the extension officially expires on that date, a visa will be required for any stays or entries made from August 1, 2026, onward. Travelers entering Taiwan on or before July 31, 2026, can still stay for the full 14 days without a visa, even if their trip extends into August. Bottom line: Decided I'll just wait for PAL's own seat sale ~ I think in August '26 ✈️🧳✨
