Ikea's Crowd-Drawing Swedish Restau
Whenever I'm attending an event within Mall of Asia grounds (just came from Casa Ibarra along Corral Way), I squeeze in time to drop by Ikea. Not because I can afford most of the stuff (coz many of 'em are way beyond my budget), but bec I miss the refillable raspberry or pear beverages (w/free refills, for only below P60) coupled w/ a dessert at the main dining hall at the 4th ~ the Swedish restaurant. Also a must-try there is the salmon, and of course, Ikea's meatballs 🤗 This Saturday it was quite full, though. Nearby Arena had Bini lovers converging for a meet-&-greet or show or something like that, so some of the people there may have spilled over to nearby eateries. Anyway, when visiting the 4th level, you wouldn't miss the Swedish Food Market where customers purchase take-home ingredients and snacks. I opted to head to the 3rd floor (right across the check-out area for furniture/other home wares shoppers, many of whom even try out the inviting sofas, firm yet soft sleeper-sofas, comfy chairs & beds featured in the numerous bedroom/living room showcases) where hungry folks can grab a bite at the Swedish bistro. You'll find "to-go" snacks like a chicken hotdog & drink combo that sells for P65 (or get similar snacks). As it's cool in the place, even if you're just there to eat rather than splurge on home wares, toys or gifts, going around Ikea at a leisurely pace may be well worth the time.
