That Spielberg Effect

I got to watch "Disclosure Day" today and it wasn't as 'dragging' as I expected it to be (reminded me not to judge a movie by its trailer). Only a handful of filmmakers/directors -- notably Steven Spielberg -- can pull off the extraterrestrial presence subject and convey the deeper meaning. It was great to watch versatile actress Emily Blunt go from "The Devil Wears Prada" to "A Quiet Place" and now this Spielberg movie. Oh, and I almost didn't recognize Colin Firth ("Pride and Prejudice," "Bridget Jones") as an antagonist. The takeaways ~ the huge distrust for authority, the way genuine empathy works, the sense of community ~ were all there for audiences to pick up 🎬🫎🦊🤗✨
