I am the bread of life" in John 6:35

When Jesus said that is favorite food is bread, I was wondering and then I realized why. By calling Himself bread, He meant that just as the human body physically starves and dies without food, the human soul spiritually starves and dies without Him. Just as our body cannot live without food, our spiritual body cannot live without Jesus Christ. So as long as you still have a chance, as long as you're still alive and well today, Seek him. For it gives Him joy to give you His kingdom. What more could you even ask for? It was given to you freely, you only have to receive it.
