Happy Independence Day!

The photo shows our 12yo schoolgirl (but she was just 8 in the pic) when we traveled on a holiday, Independence day, back in 2022. We joined one of those group tours that headed to Ilocos Norte, where we were awed by the windmills and other scenic spots; enjoyed adventure-activities in Paoay including a 4x4 ride and sandboarding; soaked in the sights and relished the food (in Laoag). This year, we're marking Independence Day in a much simpler and laidback way ~ at home.
