Finding Comfort in the Quiet

The older I get, the more I appreciate soft moments: a calm morning, an unhurried conversation, a mind that finally rests. There was a time when I measured life by how much I could accomplish and how quickly I could move forward. Now, I find myself paying closer attention to the spaces in between—the pause before the day begins, the warmth of genuine connection, the peace of not needing to rush. I've come to realize that some of life's richest moments are not the loudest or most memorable to others. They are the quiet ones that gently remind us we are here, alive, and enough just as we are. In a world that constantly asks for more, there is something deeply comforting about learning to appreciate what already is.
