Q
What are your Core Principles for Intentional Living?

There's a post asking for our 'Go-To Core Principles in Living' hence sharing my response here as well.... My Core Principles for Intentional Living 1. The Principle of Sustainable Wellness **"You cannot pour from an empty cup."** * **Formal Phrasing:** **Prioritize self-preservation and personal well-being.** One cannot effectively contribute to others or sustain high performance without first ensuring their own physical, mental, and emotional capacity is replenished. 2. The Law of Reciprocity and Accountability **"Karma is real."** * **Formal Phrasing:** **Operate with integrity, recognizing that actions yield consequential echoes.** Every choice possesses an inherent return; ethical conduct and goodwill ultimately cultivate constructive outcomes. 3. The Cultivation of Internal Contentment **"Comparison and envy kill happiness/joy."** * **Formal Phrasing:** **Guard personal fulfillment against the erosion of comparative metrics.** True satisfaction is derived from individual progress and intrinsic value, whereas envy only diminishes personal achievements. 4. The Strategic Necessity of Recovery **"Rest is not being lazy."** * **Formal Phrasing:** **View rest as a prerequisite for sustained excellence, not an absence of productivity.** Strategic recovery is an essential component of a high-functioning life, distinct from complacency. 5. The Practice of Mindful Grounding **"When in doubt, sad, angry, happy, afraid, thankful, etc... always pray."** * **Formal Phrasing:** **Anchor all emotional spectrums—from adversity to triumph—in consistent spiritual reflection.** Seeking higher guidance serves as a stabilizing force through every emotional and situational fluctuation. 6. Alignment with Divine Sovereignty **"God is in control / God's plan is better than ours."** * **Formal Phrasing:** **Surrender to divine providence and a higher purpose.** Trust that the overarching trajectory of life is guided by a wisdom that transcends immediate human understanding. 7. The Assurance of Destiny and Alignment **"What is meant for you, will find you."** * **Formal Phrasing:** **Maintain faith in purposeful alignment.** Trust that opportunities, relationships, and outcomes uniquely suited to your journey will manifest in their proper timing, eliminating the need for forced outcomes. ------------ Bringing this out of the comment section and onto my feed because it’s something I need to keep close. I don’t have it all figured out, and my path definitely hasn't been a straight line. I’ve had my share of falls. Keeping this post as a personal anchor—a constant reminder to look back on so I always remember who I am and where I'm going.
