The Trip That Healed More Than One Heart
Taking my parents on their first international trip is a moment I never knew would mean this much. Growing up, they spent years choosing responsibilities over personal dreams. Every sacrifice they made became the foundation of the life I have today. While we were busy growing up, they were quietly setting aside things they wanted for themselves. Seeing them experience Vietnamāthe excitement before the flight, the wonder of discovering new places, and the happiness in the simplest momentsāmade me realize that this trip was about so much more than travel. For a long time, people talk about healing their inner child. But standing beside my parents on this journey, I realized I wasn't just healing mine. In a way, I was giving theirs a chance to experience something they once had to postpone. This trip reminded me that sometimes the greatest gift isn't the destinationāit's being able to create memories with the people who made all your dreams possible. ā¤ļø
