Lost Between Deadlines and Dreams

I used to love photography. When I was younger (Elementary days), I'd sell chocolates to my classmates during Valentine's to help my Mom with her business. I didn't know she kept all I've earned during those years. Come college, I told my parents I wanted to buy a DSLR camera to learn photography. Didn't have enough savings that time tho, then Mom told me I still have the money I earned from selling chocolates. Tho not enough, they used what I had and just added a little more for me to be able to buy the camera that I wanted. I did learn photography for a while, attended seminars even. Bought gears. Covered several gatherings, outings and events. Oh, I also covered my cousin's wedding too! Also did film photography back in Grad school. Photography used to be a big part of my life. It wasn't about getting the perfect shot—it was about seeing beauty in ordinary moments, slowing down, and feeling inspired. But life happened. Work got busy, responsibilities piled up, and without realizing it, I put my camera down and never really picked it back up. Sometimes I wonder when I stopped chasing the things that made me happy. I hope that one day I find my way back—not just to photography, but to all the dreams and passions I've left sitting on the shelf. Maybe they're not gone. Maybe they're just waiting for me to come back when I'm ready. #RayoverPhotoChallenge
