A Reflection on Growth and Gratitude 🤍
My childhood was shaped by scarcity. With parents who only graduated from high school, financial limitations meant that toys, good food, and travel were out of reach. Yet within those boundaries, I discovered determination. Each unmet desire became fuel for a quiet resolve: to build my dreams step by step until they became reality. Today, I may not yet meet society’s full measure of stability, but I have learned that success is not defined by comparison. It is measured by the distance between my past and my present. That distance is vast. From dreams to slowly getting it into reality hits different. I am deeply grateful for all the growth and freedom I now hold the ability to eat the food I want, wear clothes that give me confidence, and visit places I once only imagined. These are not ordinary milestones; they are extraordinary victories, earned through resilience and perseverance. My journey proves that growth can emerge from scarcity, and gratitude can transform even the simplest achievements into profound triumphs. Happy to be the first degree holder in the family 🥰🙏🏼#RayoverPhotoChallenge
