Found this tiny little snake in our garden today š
Looking at it curled up small and harmless inside the jar, it reminded me of a painful chapter I went through before. Back then, my ex told me he was leaving just to meet a guy friend. Said heād be late, and would just sleep over there instead of going home. I believed himā¦ only to find out later it wasnāt a guy at all. It was a girl ā his ex-girlfriend, who worked at a bar, called him drunk and asked for a ride. He went, never came home that nightā¦ and boom, she ended up pregnant with his child. š It hurt so much to realize: lies always come with a hidden truth. What you think is safe and honest can turn out to be something that breaks you completely. But seeing this little snake today? It made me think ā even small things can carry lessons. Sometimes we encounter āpoisonousā situations or people disguised as something safe, but once we see their true colors, we learn to keep our distance and protect ourselves. Iām glad that chapter is over.
