Bleeding down there

So I've been bleeding since last week Friday (May 22) and now it's may 28 and I'm still kinda bleeding down there. It started the night I was so stressed cause of family problems. Women in my fam said it was just my period, but my period is every first week of the month. I do need advice on what to do. Please help
