Going back to work

I wish I can say I'm going back to work. But I can't. I've been out of the work force for almost 3 years now. I don't know how to go about looking for work again. Left my job untimely and with a bit of trauma which was kinda paralizing and robbed me off motivation and confidence. Hay...
