Bakit nga ba tinatawag yung fried ice cream na "fried"?

Hindi naman siya finafry eh tapos it's already solid enough (not melted), bat inaano pa sa yung parang stove ng angels burger para ma "fry" (or rather freeze?) ???? Naka freeze na nga diba 😭 am I wrong ba

Genuine question po ito huhu I'm confused lang naman, I still eat it pa ring kung meron

there is an ice cream po talaga na fried like ung nasa pick below kasi literally finafry po sha with oil deep fry but if you're talking about ung parang rolled na ice cream kasi some stores call it fried ice cream hindi sha fried ang tawaga talaga doon is rolled ice cream

Actually, traditional fried ice cream is literally coated and quickly deep-fried kaya siya tinawag na “fried.” Yung mainit sa labas na part + frozen sa loob yung concept niya.

Pero yung mga nakikita sa stalls/malls minsan hindi talaga fina-fry 😭 Yung parang “stove” thingy na gamit nila is usually a freezing plate para masolidify or i-shape yung ice cream. So technically, parang “frozen ice cream” na lang siya pero dala pa rin yung original name hahaha Hope it helps
