Why you should watch "Empire Waist"?

Empire Waist is a heartwarming movie about Lenore, an unhappy, plus-sized teen who wants nothing more than to be invisible at school. Her life changes when a school project pairs her with Kayla, the new friend encourage her to use her hidden talent as a seamstress to design body-positive clothing for her peers with their own unique beautiful selves. Come see: Body acceptance, teenage body dysmorphia,self-confidence, and true friendship. The Plot: Lenore designs clothes for other overlooked girls, helping form a tight-knit friend group. With the support of her eccentric father (played by Rainn Wilson), she enters a major fashion competition despite resistance from her insecure mother.
