Water Rise in Manila

Dark clouds hang low above the town, Rain pours hard and pours unceasing down, Streets turn to streams where waters flow, Where once we walked now tides will grow. Houses stand with feet in deep, Where muddy currents slow and creep, But hearts hold strong through wet and gloom, We rise again when skies clear soon.
