Some people leave the moment things get hard because they want peace without struggle. Others stay far too long, hoping love will eventually become enough to heal everything.
But relationships are not measured by how quickly you leave or how much pain you can endure.
Real love is knowing when to stay and work through problems together, and knowing when staying is already destroying your peace, self-worth, and identity.
Not every conflict is a reason to give up. But not every pain deserves endless understanding either.
There’s strength in fighting for someone you love, but there’s also strength in recognizing when you are the only one still fighting.
At the end of the day, love should grow you, not slowly empty you.
For me, the healthier choice is  to fight for the relationship while both people are still trying, but leave when you’re the only one carrying it.
Love should require effort, yes, but it should not require you to abandon yourself completely just to keep someone beside you.
