This Week's Picks: Home-cooked meals and honest feelings
Lots of food posts this week. But somehow they all felt different. drei0824 posted a plate of pork adobo with sitaw she made for lunch, and there's something about "this is how I like my adobo" that just tells you everything about a person. GoldLatte198 wrote about her partner offering to cover her nail costs - sounds small, but when you've been in relationships where you didn't get that kind of care, it hits different. MatchaLover's husband made her the beef steak she'd been craving. Short post, but you could feel it. YoGee finally went on that summer trip she'd been putting off, and the way she joked about getting darker under the Calatagan sun was the best part. Neemoi asked something a lot of people have sat with: after a breakup, do you stay friends or walk away for good? No neat answer. Just an honest question. Oh - each of the five writers gets 300 points this week. Not for polished writing, but for posting something that made people think of their own lives. That's what good posts do.
