On the other hand, one thing I never understood as a child, and still cannot decipher until now is how she was able to make ends meet. Raising 4 children, sending us to school at the same time, yet we've never heard or seen her complain. Moms are legit superheroes.

As we grow older, we begin to see our mothers not just as parents, but as human beings with their own struggles, fears, sacrifices, and unfinished dreams. Life helps us understand why they were tired, worried, strict, or emotional at times. We realize they were doing their best while carrying burdens we often never saw. Maturity may not erase every hurt, but it replaces some judgment with empathy. In the end, one of the deepest realizations is that our mothers were also learning, surviving, and growing while raising us.

Mas naiintindihan ko na ngayon na hindi perfect ang mga magulang. Yung mama ko, may sariling struggles din pala siya na hindi ko nakikita noon. Mas naging empathetic ako ngayon kaysa dati.

Ngayon na matanda na ako, mas naiintindihan ko na yung sacrifices ng mom ko. Akala ko dati normal lang lahat pero ngayon alam ko kung gaano kahirap yung pinagdadaanan niya para mapalaki kami. Sobrang thankful ako sa kanya ngayon.
