Flex those Trash Hauls At the Beach
I'm currently here on a beach in Iloilo at gusto ko sanang magmunimuni earlier this morning. Upon arrival sa beachfront, kita ko na agad ang various old garbage na naka scatter sa sand (kasi may lumot na sila and all). I cannot just ignore it. Ini-imagine ko yung mga sea creatures na makakain nito, yung mga videos ng mga turtles with straws sa ilong nila, yung plastic bags around a seal's neck, hundreds of whale families dying because of thousands of plastics rotting inside their belly. So yes, pick up that empty bag of plastic, that broken plastic storage, that plastic bottle of Coke. Do small things and start building habits like opting out of plastic straws or bringing your own tumbler instead of buying plastic bottles of water. Yes, girlie, flex those trash hauls at the beach.
