the flower crown photo is still in my albums

so the 2026 is the new 2016 thing finally got me last night. my cousin sent me a throwback from a party where we wore matching chokers. then i opened my own camera roll. went back. there she was. me, 2016, flower crown from a greenhills stall, dog filter on, eyes doing the wide thing where i clearly thought i had cracked being a person. that look is the cringe. the catharsis is i'm fine now. broke then, tired in a way i can pay for. i hovered over the upload button for three full minutes because some part of me thought my coworkers would scroll past it monday and never look me in the eye again. they did look me in the eye. one of them sent me hers and the choker was almost identical. the photo is still up. i did archive the one with the butterfly filter on top of the flower crown, because that was a whole personality. #nostalgia #2016vibes #throwback #flowercrown
