the Mother's Day caption I keep deleting

I have been retyping a Mother's Day post for three days and keep closing the app. nothing fits. every version sounds either too big or too small. literally just wrote one that started with 'to the strongest woman...' and deleted it before the period. honestly the thing is, my mom packed my school lunch every morning before her shift and I never once asked when she slept. she would text 'i'm okay' at 2am and I just sent a heart back, no follow-up question, just the same emoji every time because I was a teenager and figured if she was typing she was fine. so I'm calling her on Sunday morning. she'll have the radio on and I'll listen for a minute before I say anything. #mothersday #workingmoms #motherhood #mothersday2026
