Be honest, who's the friend you haven't messaged since like February? Earlier maybe? There wasn't a fight. The thread just kind of drifted off, and the last message between you is a "haha" from before Holy Week. Her IG story comes up sometimes when you're scrolling at midnight, and the reaction button has started to feel weirdly formal. Her name pops up when you scroll past old chats. There's a half-thought version of a message drafted in your head and forgotten. Pride is in there somewhere. Also that thing where you don't know which version of her is on the other end after this long, and what version of you she's still got in her head. What's actually stopping you from sending it rn? Or did you finally hit send last week and nobody noticed?
