One thing freelancing taught me?

Not every client who says, “I have a small budget,” deserves a yes. I saw a post a couple of days ago from a content creator with a huge following. They were hiring for a part-time role, 20 hours per week, for ₱10,000 a month. Honestly, I felt sad reading it. Not because people are starting somewhere, we all do. I understand accepting lower rates when you’re still building experience, confidence, or trying to land your first clients. But sometimes, offers like this normalize the idea that creative work, time, and skills should be cheap. And the truth is, freelancing already takes so much from you mentally and creatively. At some point, you realize: Being underpaid becomes exhausting too. Your time, effort, creativity, and energy matter. And learning when to say “this rate no longer works for me” is part of freelancing growth, too. #TheFreelanceMompreneur #FreelanceLife #FreelancingReality #KnowYourWorth #CopywritingJourney #WorkFromHomeMom #RealTalk
