What should the government prioritize: Education over Innovation? Or Innovation over Education?

Well, both are important. But for me, I really think that education weighs more than innovations because without education, there is no innovation.

The reflection here is that the two are not rivals but partners. Education builds the thinkers; innovation gives those thinkers a space to apply what they know. One without the other leads to imbalance, either knowledge without application, or advancement without depth. At its core, the question is not “which is better,” but “which supports the other more effectively in building a sustainable society.”

For me, education should come first. Kasi kapag strong ang education system, doon talaga nag-uumpisa ang lahat. Innovation naturally follows when people are well-trained, well-informed, and given the right foundation to think, create, and solve problems. Hindi naman ibig sabihin na hindi importante ang innovation, pero mas sustainable siya kapag nakatayo sa solid na education system.
