That one Monday morning question

Be honest, you saw it coming the moment you walked in. Could've been at the coffee station, in the elevator, or right after you sat down before your headset was even on. Someone, with the brightest possible energy, asks: How was your weekend? And you just stand there for a second. The weekend wasn't bad. The person asking isn't the issue. You just cannot decide what the polite-but-not-too-detailed answer is supposed to be when your weekend was mostly sleeping, laundry, and zoning out on TikTok for three hours. You smile. You say it was okay. Or tiring. Or the classic uneventful. And both of you move on. So what's your usual answer to "how was your weekend?" The honest one, or the polite one?
