What they don’t see is, the pressure to stay calm kahit galit na galit na yung kausap mo, the mental exhaustion after hours of back-to-back calls, the constant monitoring, metrics, and expectations,the emotional control it takes to be polite even when you’re disrespected. They assume, “Malaki naman sweldo niyo”, “Chill lang trabaho niyo”, “Pwede ka magpuyat, sanay ka naman." But the truth is, this job requires patience, resilience, and emotional strength every single day. And when the shift ends, you don’t just log out from the system, you carry the exhaustion with you. People think BPO work is easy because it looks simple, but they don’t realize the emotional and mental toll behind every call. It’s not just a job, it’s constant pressure, patience, and strength.
