Even in Their Absence, You Are Whole
A Poem for women who feels left behind I hope you know being abandoned does not make you unworthy. It only means someone else failed to stay. I know the silence hurts the unanswered messages, the empty spaces where love used to live. But please remember, absence is not a reflection of your value. You are still whole, even if someone walked away like you were easy to forget. You are not forgettable. You are not disposable. You are deeply, undeniably human and worthy of being chosen. It’s okay to grieve what you thought would stay. It’s okay to miss what once felt like home. But don’t build your identity around someone else’s leaving. You are more than who couldn’t stay. And one day, you will meet people who don’t make you question your place in their lives people who listen, who stay, who choose you without hesitation. Until then be that person for yourself. Stay. Listen. Choose you.
