Let's share our thoughts on "Aftersun" film!
Spoiler alert 🚨 It's that kind of film that needs days or experiences (related to the story) to reflect on the message it wanted to convey. I do really like how creative they build the narrative through editing and the sequence of events. It was not spoon-feeding and more on the abstract type of film which I admire. If you are diagnosed or experienced mental illness, particularly, depression, you could relate to this film. Also if you want to understand your parents and appreciate them. Though, I still have one question stucked on my mind about this film. Why did the father still ends up taking his own life despite the bond he spent with his daughter ? Or the illness really got him?
