Need help folks!

For a veryyyy long time, I allowed myself to be passive and shrugged off by people. My voice doesn't matter and people didn't take me seriously even when I wanted to. I now realized that I severely lacked communication skills and I don't know where to begin learning. Don't blame me, I was raised in a household where my mother always has the final say and I suffered physical torments for LEARNING (genuine mistakes, you know what I mean) as a child. And we are NOT well off for my parents to expose me to extracurricular activities at school nor just simply bring to me a park or a place to explore and learn. I've spent 3/4 of my childhood and schooling days at home so help me in my journey of unlocking my talent in public speaking.
