Decluttering = Shopping at Home (No Checkout Needed)
While decluttering, I found something broken a wind chime. My first thought? Throw it away and buy a new one.But then I paused… because let’s be honest, that “new one” will probably end up broken someday too. So instead, I got a little creative. Grabbed an old hanger, used some extra hooks and rope, and started fixing it. A few minutes later voilà. It was back, hanging and doing its thing like nothing ever happened. Same peaceful sound, zero pesos spent. That’s when it hit me: Decluttering isn’t about throwing things away and buying replacements. It’s about shopping inside your own home. Finding what still works.Fixing what still can.Letting go of what no longer serves you. So this time, I made a rule for myself:No spending. Not even a peso. Because sometimes, what you need… is already yours.
