I rely on discipline not luck

I don’t sit around waiting for luck to knock on my door...I built my own door, and I show up to it every single day. I’ve learned the hard way that luck is inconsistent, temporary, and honestly… unreliable. Discipline, though? That’s different. Discipline is loyal. It stays when motivation disappears, when things get heavy, when no one is watching. I rely on discipline...not because it’s easy, but because it’s honest. It forces me to rise even when I feel like breaking, to move even when I’m tired, to keep going when nothing around me is working. While others wait for the perfect moment, I create mine. While they hope for chances, I build habits that don’t need permission. There are days I don’t feel strong. Days I question everything. Days I wish things would just magically fall into place. But I’ve made peace with this truth: nothing worth having comes from wishing...it comes from showing up relentlessly. From doing the work when it’s boring, when it’s painful, when it feels like no progress is being made. Discipline is my quiet flex. No noise, no shortcuts, no excuses. Just consistency. Just commitment. Just me, choosing...over and over again...to become who I said I would be. Because at the end of the day, luck might visit anyone… but discipline? Discipline is what builds a life that can’t be taken away.
