Letting go

Hi mommies… just wanted to share a piece of my heart today. Being a mom of four is like holding four different worlds in your hands. Each one with their own personality—one soft, one strong, one playful, one quiet… all uniquely beautiful. I used to think motherhood was about teaching them everything they need to know. But now, I’m slowly realizing… it’s also about learning how to let go. They don’t need me the same way they used to.They’re becoming more independent, making their own choices, finding their own paths. And while I’m so proud…there’s also this quiet ache in my heart. Because the little hands I used to hold so tightly are now reaching for the world on their own. Some days, I miss the noise, the chaos, the “Mommy, help me” moments. Now it’s more of “Mom, I got this.” And I smile… even when a part of me wants to say, “Stay a little longer.” Motherhood changes with every season. From being needed… to being trusted… to learning to step back. But one thing never changes—the love. The prayers. The silent watching from the sidelines. To all moms feeling this too…you’re not alone. We’re not losing them. We’re raising them. And that’s the most beautiful, bittersweet victory of all.
