Is it okay for me to feel this way?

I have a date this day. Matagal na namin tong napag-usapan ng boyfriend ko and I was so excited because LDR kami. But earlier this day, while I was preparing, he told me na kasama niya ang mother niya. Backstory. Currently, nasa ibang bansa nakatira ang mother niya. This week, umuwi siya sa pinas together with my boyfriend's siblings. His mother is old and was diagnosed with dementia. Ngayon nalang ulit sila nagkasama for a bery long time. I understand na sobrang namiss niya ang mother niya. But I wasn't informed, not until today, na isasama pala niya. I don't have any problems with tita. It's just that, I was expecting this day to be somehow intimate since LDR nga kami. I am disappointed. Is this feeling valid? If you were me, what would you feel?
