The Fixer
She was the one everyone depended on. At work, she fixed problems. At home, she took care of everyone. Her friends came to her when they were sad, and she always listened. But when she was alone, she felt tired and quiet inside. One day, she looked at herself and thought, “Who takes care of me?” She didn’t have an answer. So she tried something new. She rested. She said no sometimes. She stopped trying to fix everything. Little by little, she started taking care of herself. And she learned something important— Being strong doesn’t mean doing everything for everyone. Sometimes, being strong means choosing yourself too.
