I've been asked a lot of times why I haven't had a boyfriend in a long time. My last relationship ended in 2022. That at my age, I should just lower my standards, they say. And I laugh, because I've lowered my standards in almost all the relationships I was in. So no, thanks. I'm waiting on God's best for me, the one who will say, "that's all you need?" and not, "your standards are too high". So to all my girlies out there who think they're behind, remember, it's better to wait long than marry wrong. While the one God handpicked for you hasn't arrived yet, continue to develop yourself. God is at work.
