Thinking about Marriage

Hi gays, the gf and I are thinking about marriage, possibly via Courtly just so we can be legally married IF and WHEN we decide to go outside PH. I am opposed to doing the ceremonial thing initially jus cos I dont want to spend money and get no legal benefits from it. We've been together since 2018 and have already made some life long investments. Anyone here who are planning or did this? How is it like?
