Speak kindly, to yourself 💛
Your mind listens to everything you say so I’ve been learning to speak with love, not criticism. 💭 I used to be so hard on myself, but lately, I’ve been replacing thoughts like “I’m not good enough” with “I’m still learning, and that’s okay.” When I traveled solo to Kota Kinabalu, that lesson really sank in. It wasn’t just about exploring a new place but it was about learning to take care of myself, trust my instincts, and be patient with my growth. 🌿 I’m realizing that being kind to yourself is a form of mental self-care. It doesn’t always come naturally, but it makes such a difference. One thing that helps me is writing down three kind things about myself each morning and it sounds simple, but it really shifts my mindset. Positive self-talk may feel strange at first, but over time, it teaches your brain to see yourself with compassion. You deserve the same kindness you freely give to others. #MentalHealthMatters
