Once inspired, now inspiring🤍
My volleyball journey started when I was in third grade, all because of my sister. I used to just watch her play, cheering from the sidelines, not knowing that one day I would fall in love with the sport too. Without even realizing it, I found myself holding the ball, playing, and feeling the same passion she did. Volleyball became more than just a game it became a big part of who I am. Through the years, it has taught me discipline, teamwork, and how to keep pushing forward even when things get tough. I’ve been blessed with scholarships since high school because of volleyball, and it opened so many doors for me. But more than the achievements, it became my safe space, a place where I could release stress and find peace. Every time I step on the court, my worries fade, and I feel free. Volleyball has been a huge help to my mental health, reminding me that I am strong and capable. Up until now, as a second-year college student, I still play with the same love and gratitude I had as that little kid watching from the sidelines.
