Wedding Preparation: Choosing my Bride Squad
I keep a very small circle of close friends so it wasn’t really hard for me to choose my bridesmaids and maids of honor. Lucky me, these close friends of mine are my ride or die - they are people whom I can depend on especially when things go crazy on the Wedding Day. My bride squad consists of my High School barkada, my childhood best friend, and my sisters-in-law. I couldn’t thank them enough cos they were present in almost all of my wedding preps and errands. They were with me during my ocular visits to churches and reception venues. They were with me at bridal fairs. They were with me during my gown hunting, food tasting, and suppliers’ meetings. Heck, they were with me during my panics and emotional breakdowns lol. I guess what I am trying to say is that - my Team Bride wasn’t there for mere picture taking. They weren’t there for the sake of having an entourage. They were there fulfilling the very definition of their role - supporting me emotionally and logistically before, during, and even after the ceremony.
