Taking a Beach Break for a Mental Break
For a beach bum like me, a beach break isn’t just a vacation. It’s therapy gifted by nature. Before this trip, I was exhausted from work and didn’t realize how much I needed to breathe until I finally stepped on the sand and heard the waves again. The ocean, with its calm waves and warm soft sand, offers a mental break that no city escape can truly match. Here are some photos of me from my last Boracay trip. People who know me, know that I always go to 2-3 out-of-town beach trips in a year. My usuals are Batangas, La Union, and Zambales. I’ve also been to Palawan, Siargao, Cebu, and Panglao. I’ve been to many beaches but Boracay will always have a special place in my heart. Boracay has this rare kind of beauty where serenity and energy coexist effortlessly. There’s music, movement, and so much going on, but somehow, I still feel at peace. Maybe it’s the soft white sand, the clear blue water, or the way the sunset slows everything down. I don’t know how Boracay does it, but it allows me to feel fully alive while also quietly at ease. After this trip, I felt lighter. My mind was clearer and my heart calmer.
