Crowned by Growth👸
Ever since I was a kid, joining pageants has always been one of my greatest joys. The stage felt like home, a place where I could express my confidence, grace, and passion. Every crown and sash I earned reminded me of how much I loved the art of pageantry and how it helped me grow as a person. But as time went by, things changed. I started gaining weight, and my body began to shift into something more athletic than the typical pageant body. At first, it was hard to accept that I could no longer fit into the gowns or the image I once had. It took a toll on my mental health because I tied so much of my self-worth to how I looked on stage. But slowly, I learned that beauty isn’t limited to a certain body type; it shines through confidence, kindness, and authenticity. My sports body tells a story of strength, discipline, and growth, and I’ve learned to embrace it. Though I may no longer join pageants, I still carry that same spirit and sparkle within me, and now I celebrate myself not for how I look under the spotlight, but for how I’ve learned to love who I am beyond it.
