I just watched Jillian interview sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, and grabe, ang bigat pero inspiring din ng interview niya. She finally decided to speak up after four years of staying quiet about the rumors lalo na ‘yung issue tungkol sa kotse at debut niya. Ang daming nagsabi ng kung ano ano, pero malinaw niyang sinabi na lahat ng meron siya ay galing sa sariling sipag at trabaho. May mga resibo pa siya to prove it! Ang pinaka-nakatouch para sa akin is when she defended her mom. Sobrang unfair kasi pati pamilya niya nadadamay sa fake news, pero hindi siya nagpadala sa takot or pressure. Instead, she stood up for her family with so much grace and courage. Naiiyak ako sa part na sinabi niyang, “My mom would never do that to me.” Kita talaga kung gaano niya kamahal at pinoprotektahan ang pamilya niya. Watching her reminded me how toxic social media can be, and how important it is to protect your mental health. Minsan, tahimik lang ‘yung mga taong inaakusahan, pero deep down, sobrang nasasaktan na. Jillian’s story shows na okay lang magsalita when you’ve had enough lalo na if it means standing up for your truth and your loved ones.
