When the world is just Black and White
When you are diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety, sometimes the world seems bleak, your colors are just black and white. Sometimes, you can't hear the sweet notes, sometimes you can't taste the delicious meals, you can't feel the warm breeze, and sometimes you can't see the other colors around you. When I tend to clam up during triggers of anxiety, I am grateful I have my favorite person with me. I have my partner, Iyhanne, who's been around since I started feeling anxious and during my constant bouts with panic attacks. Having your "constants" can really make a glooomy, bleak, black and white world colorful again. The journey will never be easy, but I am taking one day at a time to heal.
