Pet City 🐍
Went to Pet City to look for fishes for our aquarium, but then I suddenly spotted a snake on display. Being the curious person I am, I couldn’t resist picking it up but of course, with the owner’s consent, and they were so kind to let visitors hold the snake if they wanted to! The moment I held it, I was hit with a mix of excitement and fear, I couldn’t believe how heavy and strong it was. My face probably said it all haha, a hilarious mix of shock, awe, and nervousness. Feeling its smooth, muscular body in my hands was so thrilling, but also a little nerve-wracking and I couldn’t help thinking, “Wow, this is really happening!” I kept laughing at myself for being scared while also feeling proud that I was brave enough to try it. This experience became more than just a fun memory and it reminded me how stepping out of my comfort zone is also a way of caring for my mental health. Trying something new, even something a little scary, builds courage, self-awareness, and confidence. It showed me that growth often begins with a small act of bravery, and that it’s okay to feel fear as long as you don’t let it stop you from experiencing life fully.
