Sanju the Security Cat

We saw this adorable cat named Sanju at Barangay San Juan, Taytay, Rizal, and he instantly caught our attention. He was calmly roaming around the area, looking so relaxed and confident with his little ID that said he’s a “Security Cat.” At one point, he randomly sat beside me, and it honestly made my day. There was something so peaceful and comforting about his presence, like he knew exactly how to make people smile. Lately, I’ve been feeling a bit drained like the days and everything feels heavier than usual. But seeing Sanju reminded me that peace can still exist in small, quiet moments. Sometimes, all it takes is a bit of warmth to pull you out of your head and remind you that life isn’t all noise and pressure. Watching him wander around so calmly made me realize how much I’ve been rushing, trying to keep everything together. Sanju may just be a cat, but that brief moment with him felt like a pause I didn’t know I needed. It’s strange how something so simple can bring a sense of calm when your mind feels all over the place. Maybe that’s what healing looks like finding little pieces of peace, even when the world feels heavy.
